This winter camp is a three-day event and we plan to recruit 100 students (50 college students and 50 senior high school students). On the first and the second day, we invite four keynote speakers from Google Research/Brain to share their experience on AI research. Tutorials on interesting AI topic will be given with easy-to-follow examples. More than 20 TAs from the CS department in National Tsing Hua University and National Cheng Kung University will help the attendees to build and brainstorm a game AI model for competition by brainstroming. On the last day, the attendees need to use their own AI model to compete with each other on the PAIA (Playful AI Arena) platform. Award winners have the opportunity to join the research project in Google Research/Brain. We also arrange a “Research Experience Sharing” session to provide holistic advising (e.g., graduate admission process, transition to graduate school life, academic and financial resources) for the students.
